Making Christmas Brighter for Brisbane’s Most Vulnerable 💜

While Christmas is often a time of joy and celebration, for many in our community it can also be one of the hardest times of the year. Many Brisbane families face the heartbreaking reality of not knowing how they’ll put food on the table or gifts under the tree.

Each year, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust Christmas Appeal helps bring comfort and cheer to those doing it tough by supporting local charities across Brisbane. In 2025, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we provided grants to 89 charities, helping spread hope, kindness and relief to Brisbane families and individuals in need.
