Ongoing support for Brisbane’s frontline charities
The City of Brisbane Perpetual Fund is a long-term philanthropic investment fund established by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust. The Fund will provide sustainable financial support for Brisbane charities who assist our city’s most vulnerable people. It is designed to preserve capital, grow over time, and deliver dependable funding for essential frontline services.
Purpose
Every day, thousands of volunteers and frontline workers show up for Brisbane residents facing homelessness, domestic violence, illness, food insecurity and isolation.
These charities are the heartbeat of our city, yet they are under compounding pressures from natural disasters, rising living costs, and increased demand for crisis services.
They deserve more than short-term support, which is why we created The City of Brisbane Perpetual Fund – a stable, enduring source of funding that allows charities to focus on delivering vital care rather than constant fundraising.
