The Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust has been caring for the Brisbane community since the 1950s. Through a range of critical grant rounds, facilitating connections and support to local and grassroots charities, The Trust makes an impact on Brisbane’s biggest community challenges and most vulnerable residents

The Vacseen Project
The Trust is really special because there are all of these different organisations that are supported, some small like us, and other bigger charities that are also doing really impactful work, with the one goal of supporting people in Brisbane.
Childhood Cancer Support
To be able to see a beautiful smile on sick children undergoing Cancer treatment and their siblings by providing them with simple pleasures such as Easter Eggs donated by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust, makes such a difference for our families
Dig In
Dan Marshall
A recent grant from the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust allowed us to roll out a hot vending machine with a 24-hour-a-day access to make sure no ones goes hungry. It is estimated that the funding received would support more than 1500 meals to people living on the breadline
Little Star Kids QLD
Little Star Kids received a much-needed funding boost thanks to a grant presented to us by the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust. This grant helps fund our Little Stars Learners program, which provides trauma-informed academic tutoring to QLD kids living in long term foster care
Community Canteen
We are so humbled and grateful for the immediate response of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust that allows us to focus on continuing our work to support the disadvantages of Brisbane Central. It is our privilege to serve, but it is made so much easier when we can focus on the need and doing our best to support the community
