Thanks to the incredibly philanthropic generosity of supporters in 23/24, the Trust was proud to provide 205 grants to 110 different local Brisbane charities through our annual grants program. These wonderful charities touch critical areas of need including domestic violence, homelessness, food scarcity, children in need and those experiencing poor health. Unfortunately, we continue to see unprecedented levels of need amongst our most vulnerable residents and this has had a significant impact on our charities – not only has demand for services increased, the cost of delivering these services has also risen.

We know that more and more children are going to school without breakfast, without the same school uniform as their classmates, and without the basic equipment they need to succeed in the classroom. It is only by working together to support these charities that have the biggest impact at a grassroots level, that we can help restore hope and dignity where it’s needed most.

A donation to the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust before 30 June is not only tax deductible, but will also go towards supporting Brisbane’s frontline charities.
