THROUGHOUT HER LIFE CARLA ZAMPATTI WAS A TRAILBLAZER FOR WOMEN AND A PASSIONATE CAMPAIGNER FOR WOMEN'S CAUSES AND CHARITIES
Carla was thrilled to partner with the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust last year to launch her SS20 collection in Brisbane. It was Carla’s personal wish that proceeds from this event went towards supporting women’s causes.
Sadly, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was postponed to this year.
Following Carla’s recent tragic passing, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust is honoured to be asked to continue to host this event in tribute to Carla’s remarkable life and achievements. The Trust will ensure that Carla’s wishes are granted and that proceeds from the event benefit women’s causes across Brisbane.
In partnership with iconic Australian Fashion label, Carla Zampatti Pty Ltd, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust is privileged to host this unique fashion event, in tribute to the extraordinary groundbreaking life of the label’s founder, the late Carla Zampatti AC.
We are thrilled to have Melissa Downes from Nine News as our MC for an afternoon of spectacular entertainment featuring performances, fashion, a live auction and marvellous raffles to be won!
Carla’s friend and former editor-in-chief of Harper’s BAZAAR, Kellie Hush, is our special guest.
Brisbane fashion and style doyenne, Di Cant, will host an exclusive Q & A with Kellie, who will share her memories of her formidable friend. Kellie will also present her favourite pieces from Carla Zampatti’s SS21 collection.
Auditorium table guests will enjoy a 3 course luncheon and unlimited premium beverages, whilst being up close to the action of the runway fashion show.
Balcony seating guests will be treated to a piccolo of bubbly on arrival and an appetising 2 course grazing luncheon, with the ability to move between their balcony viewing of the show and the Brisbane Room to enjoy the hospitality, exclusive entertainment with beverages available for purchase.

Almost 700 women in greater Brisbane aged over 55 are homeless
The Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust and IQR Group Pty Ltd are proud to support The Forgotten Women Project. This project aims to support homeless women over 55 which sadly is the fastest growing homeless population in Australia.
These women are sleeping in their cars, don’t have access to superannuation or savings and have often escaped abusive situations.
The Forgotten Women Project, an initiative of Mangrove Housing, aims to provide local, affordable and safe housing for these vulnerable women.
