Lord Mayor's Community Trust - 2011 Second Grant Round Presentation

Congratulations to the recent recipients of the Lord Mayor's Community Trust's Second Grant Round for 2011.  We donated just over $55,000 to seven amazing charity groups providing valuable services to those in need in Brisbane.

The Magic Moments Foundation of Australia is a non-profit organisation formed to create a coalition of caring volunteers who are committed to consistently reaching and assisting people who are often forgotten by society.

The International Basket Brigade is the annual campaign to provide food and gifts for people that need a hand – children, the elderly, hungry & homeless – during the holiday season each year.

Montrose Access provides therapy, respite and recreation services to more than 600 children and young adults with physical disabilities throughout Queensland.

SIDS and Kids Queensland provide bereavement support to Queensland families who have experienced the sudden and unexpected death of a baby during pregnancy, birth and infancy regardless of the cause.

Suited to Success is a not-for-profit organisation which runs programs in personal growth, including Dress for Success which helps disadvantaged women into the workforce by providing them with professional attire and career development tools such as training in interview techniques and presentation skills.
