The Lord Mayor’s Community Trust has been providing financial support to people in need for 70 years, focusing much of its fundraising for charities that provide emergency accommodation, substance and crisis counselling and health and education services. These charities help men, women, families, young adults and children in need.
The Lord Mayor’s Community Trust’s provides small grants and major gifts for projects that focus on providing long-term solutions for young people, to get their lives back on track, through education, intervention and recovery services.

2007 Christmas Appeal
Over the last three years the Lord Mayor's Community Trust Christmas Appeal has raised over $300,000. The Trust has allocated these funds to more than 50 charities working with disadvantaged youth, families and support services.
The 2007 Christmas Appeal will provide financial grants, toys and food vouchers for Brisbane's charities to distribute to people in need. This assistance has always helped make Christmas a much brighter and joyful time for so many people who are doing it tough.
